Popular Nigerian worship singer, Dunsin Oyekan popularly known as – The Eagle has remembered his late wife Doyin Oyekan who died three years ago.
The singer who took to his official Instagram page to remember the late mother of his two children shared a picture of her and he wrote, “three years today, God is good. Oh, You loved and served God in me. Yes, you did! Keep resting babes.”
It would be recalled that the singer shared his late wife’s story with the public last year.
He said that he has had a fair share of his own trials, when he lost his wife on 18th May 2019.
According to him, when his wife passed on, he had to turn to the presence of God for strength, and it was then he got the inspiration to write his popular song, “I’d be here.”
In his words, ”I remember about three years ago when I lost my wife, the only place I could turn to was the presence of God, and in pain I began to see purpose, in grieve I began to find grace, and this song came to me.
