Christians have been sounded a note of warning over watching the latest Nollywood series, “blood sisters” currently showing on Netflix.
Gospel spel filmmaker who is also the founder of an Addiction recovery clinic, Dr Seyi Obembe has issued this warning.
According to him, the series which featured top Nollywood actors such as Kate Henshaw, Ramsey Noah, Gabriel Afolayan, Nancy Isime, and others depicts things that can affect the mind of a Christian.
Obembe who has gone to the public to criticize the movie said the movie has caused one of his supposed healing mentee to have a relapse into an old habit after watching the series.
Sharing a screenshot of WhatsApp messages, He revealed that this mentee had gone back into the sin of sexual immorality after watching the movie.
The filmmaker says that the movie is not merely a secular movie but one that gives room for the devil to materialize his satanic agendas, while adding that the move has no value to God’s kingdom.
He also warned parents to watch their children because Satan has now taken over the movie industries and has made the practice of sin a normal thing and nothing to cause a fret over.
In his words, “There is just a thin line between “secular” and “worldly”, Any movie that does not directly promote Jesus is not safe for you and your children… I recommend you desist from this movie if you have a date with destiny. Satan is currently sitting in all the “woods” in the world, starting from Hollywood….. Thanks”
The movie Blood Sisters however, tells the story of some best friends, Sarah (Ini Dima-Okojie), and Kemi (Nancy Isime) who become fugitives after Sarah’s abusive fiancé, Kola (Deyemi Okanlawon) disappears mysteriously just before the wedding ceremony.
