How I Overcame Mourning After Dare’s Death – Pastor Adeboye

The octogenarian said the simple message that reads "Daddy, let God carry you" turned the tide for him when he lost his 42-year-old son to physical death in 2021.

Christians are charged not to mourn like people without hope when they lose a loved one as there is an assurance that on resurrection morning, they shall meet again.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, left many amazed when he showed a high level of Christian maturity in May 2021, when he lost his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

But during the last Holy Ghost service, on Friday, daddy GO who revealed he grieved said he was able to get over his deep sorrow when after one of his daughters in the Lord sent him a text.

The octogenarian said the simple message that reads “Daddy, let God carry you” turned the tide for him when he lost his 42-year-old son to physical death in 2021.

It would be recalled that Pastor Dare slept in the Lord on May 4, 2021 during his sleep in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he pastored a church and was living with his family.

Bàbá Adeboye who spoke on the theme, ‘Signs and Wonders’, at the Holy Ghost service on Friday night, said God is a Miracle Worker, a Covenant-Keeper, a Burden-Bearer and the Defence of the Defenceless, and the giving of children is a proof.
